L.I.F.T. (Local Industry Funded Training) is a fully managed, turnkey Social Value and Impact initiative. It’s a ‘Train the Trainer’ programme for educators, aimed at supporting local schools, youth groups and charitable organisations through industry sponsorship.

It’s designed for businesses looking to deliver measurable social value, close STEM skills gaps and build relationships with future talent –  all without diverting internal resources.

We exist for one purpose: getting qualified, motivated people into the sector faster, and giving employers the Suitably Qualified and Experienced Person (SQEP) ready talent they need to deliver the UK’s nuclear ambitions.

Social Value scores can account for up to 20% of public sector tender evaluation criteria. LIFT supports the delivery of recognised TOMs (Themes, Outcomes and Measures), enabling up to 16x more measurable Social Value than traditional outreach.

Training can be delivered at 360 Nuclear Skills Training sites in Greater Manchester or Cumbria, at the educational institution, or at the sponsor’s own facility anywhere in the UK. Third-party venues are also available with additional room hire costs.

Depending on the package, schools receive 3D printers with sponsor-branded safety enclosures, Wacom graphics tablets, and access to Autodesk Fusion 360 and Z Brush software.
